Locating the Vehicle that Fits Your Memories

LIMA® Vehicle Sourcing

On the lookout for a non domestic-market vehicle? Vehicle Sourcing might be the option for you!

Vehicle Sourcing saves you time, money, and stress. We handle the entire process, and keep you in-the-know at every step of the way

In as little as 6 weeks you can go from scouring online ads, to driving your dream vehicle, whilst saving up to 25% on retail market prices

Process

1. Intake Call

During your intake call, we’ll explore what vehicle you’re looking for.

In this call, we’ll outline the Vehicle Sourcing process so you know what to expect. Together we’ll complete an intake questionnaire to learn about what’s most important to you, as well as any aftermarket modifications you may desire.

This call is also your opportunity to get to know the LIMA® brand and to pick our brains about any other options which might be best suited for you.

2. Options

We’ll scour our database of global dealers to find a sample of some of the most suited options for you.

Once a selection is made, we’ll provide a Preliminary Vehicle Report (PVR), outlining its current condition, specifications, and a full gallery of photos.

At this time you’re also provided with a formal quote.

3. Retainer & On-site Inspection

Once the PVR is satisfactory, we’ll collect a C$500 one-time retainer fee, put towards the cost of the vehicle. We’ll then send one of our overseas technicians to conduct an on-site 90-point inspection on the vehicle, as well as a test-drive.

You’ll receive a Comprehensive Vehicle Report (CVR), outlining the condition of the vehicle as tested, all perfromance details, and a full inspection gallery

The order is now confirmedwelcome to the LIMA® family!

5. Shipping

Our in-house logstics team manage every step of the shipping process. This includes:

  • Preparing the vehicle for shipping
  • Inland transport to Port of Departure
  • Export customs clearance
  • Shipping documentation including Bill of Lading and Notice of Arrival
  • CBSA customs clearance, Transport Canada compliance and RIV registration
  • Payment of all duties and taxes
  • Collection upon liner release at Port of Arrival

6. Arrival & Demo

The vehicle is now prepared and waiting for your in-person demonstration. A LIMA representative will go over the key features of the vehicle with you, and ensure you’re comfortable behind the wheel.

At this final stage, the 50%  balance and taxes are collected, and the vehicle is titled over to you with the local road authority.

7. Hit the Road

The road ahead is yours. Begin making lifelong memories in your dream vehicle. There is one condition though: you must make every day an adventure.

The LIMA® team will always be there to answer any questions and assist in any way possible.
